    Jelavic To Hull City

Good business for Everton as they offload the dud Jelavic for £6.5m to Hull City...2 goals in 2013 is a pretty dire return for a striker.

Speaking to media in his homeland yesterday, the Croatian said: “Steve Bruce called me and told me that he wants me in his team as a leading attacker.

“He asked me if I’m ready to move, then talked briefly about the club, his coaching philosophy and about the club’s goals.

“He was very confident during that conversation and after that I agreed to move to Hull City.

“The club suits me and I’m happy that the clubs have found an agreement for my transfer.”

Jelavic, who will cost an additional £1m if Premier League survival is secured, will hope the move can now promote his dreams of playing in this summer’s World Cup finals.

Martinez is a good manager and will be delighted to get the wonderfully talented McGeady in and a nice fee for the disastrous Jelavic!!!

Good first season and then struggled. A goal every 3 games wasn't too bad but it's probably the right time to move on.

I actually think Jelavic is a decent striker just a bit low on confidence. Everton can afford to chop and change and drop the likes of Jelavic but if he gets a run in the team, like i think he will at Hull, I think he'll do a job for them.
