Thread: Anybody on here taken a pay cut

    Anybody on here taken a pay cut

    To 'save' the company.

    A few years ago all the contractors where i work were given a 10% rate cut but there wasn't much work going about so the company could easily do it and be sure no-one would leave.

    It went back up when the work picked up and some folk started leaving.

    Footballers don't have that choice. They can't just leave a contract.

    Please bear in mind,,,,,,,,,,,,,oops ; that the orcs that are being paid so much money are in a very tough league with difficult opponents each week, in fact the bold alistair quite rightly complained at their tough schedule over the festive period where is full time "stars" had to play quite a few games versus some teams who most likely perhaps had time off from their main jobs ;

    Orcs, fit are they like :

    Aye but most normal folk in this country find it impossible to take a pay cut as they are living hand to mouth but the pay cut is forced upon them anyway.

    Footballers at big clubs are hardly being forced onto the breadline with a pay cut. They might need to consider slumming it in a lexus instead of their merc (christ im filling up here at their plight), They will no doubt have had plenty golden handshakes to keep the draught from their @rse in times of hardship when they may need to survive on 6 grand a week.

    Footballers at big clubs don't and never will live in the real world

    Had a pay rise under the rate of inflation. Does that count

    I've not had a pay rise in 15 years. Not paying tax helps wi' that

    The DABs and most of The Rangers fans would have to get a job first.
