    Had an email from a jambo mate claiming that's his wage.

    Don't know if true,but wouldn't be surprised,and he took a massive wage cut after the last cull as well,so what was he originally on ?
    Did he not offer to play for nothing,when they went bust ?

    I heard he was on £17k a week so £16.5k is an improvement

    PS I've never bought into this hysteria certain Bears display about "Jig's loyalty"...

    £16.5k or £17k a week is where his loyalty is at coz he aint getting that at another club in Britain, thats for sure.

    ...and yet still some within our support won't hear a word against the likes of him or McCoist.

    Who would walk away from that kind of money, especially where you're playing a bunch of part-timers!? It's absolutely bonkers.
