    Derek Riordan

Maybe an option for the cash strapped H*** or even the hapless Hearts????

Former Hibernian and Celtic striker Derek Riordan has revealed that clubs have knocked back his offer to play for free.

Riordan, 30, has been without a club for more than 12 months and also saw several requests to train with teams rejected until Alloa Athletic granted him access to their facilities.

He was a great finisher and a hell of a waste of talent...Hibernian have apparently already knocked him back!

I would take him to Tynecastle, no problem.

Two things stopping it are the fact he detests Hearts and the fans would be on his back if he didn't score in his first few games.

Serious doubts arise about your authenticity as a jambo after that post! Incredible.

I haven't met a single Jambo who has anything but pure hatred for that wee rat. I don't think anyone in the city itself, who supports Hearts, would want to see him anywhere near Tynecastle.

I don't like him either but that is completely irellevant. If he scores goals for Hearts I would back him 100%. We are not in a position to pick and choose. We need all the help we can get and a fit Derek Riordan would be an asset to any club in Scotland.

PS. I look forward to Billy's views on this.
