Yet more proof The Rangers are the same club now as then

Apparently, if we go into admin, it will be recognised at the 2nd time we have been in admin. The first time was in Feb 2012.

That is the same club that goes back to the Gallant Pioneers in 1872.

The People then, The People now, The People forever.

the bottom line is history/ continuity thing after a liquidation event is not an issue in business and the law isn't that interested as long as it isn't the same directors that take over the new company.

Football on the other hand there is an emotional attachment and the things that are unimportant in normal business are huge in football.

The easiest thing for the football authorities to do is just say aye we accept after liquidation club and company magically split and we regard it as a continuation.

This debate will never be settled because it all about emotion. Rangers fans will forever say they are the same club while the rest will dig you for eternity that the club you followed failed to secure a CVA went in to liquidation and had to start again as a new club.

That's simply the way it is always going to be. Securing a CVA while in admin would have saved you a lot of bother and Rangers would never had dropped out of the top division as a result. You didn't. Rangers became a f

"start again as a new club."

Er, but the whole point of the article proves that is NOT the case.

And I'm not talking about a business context, I'm talking about football.

The SFA/SPFL see Rangers as the SAME CLUB. That's why admin 2 would bring about 25 point deduction - not 15.

    Got it?

I'll say it again for the slow a**** you. "The SFA/SPFL see Rangers as the SAME CLUB." There.
