    Football from the nineteenth century

We'll, the chosen one is having a right old moan up about our tactics last night, pretty it was not...in my view a great defensive performance and if that point keeps us up then I for one won't be moaning..39 shots against 1 but if they are reduced to taking shots from outside the box then it's their fault for not being able to score...even Lampard failed to get his regular goal against us ...fu(k em!!

Mourinhos got a point about the football, we are everything that's bad about Football, but Christ, the balls of the fella. Mourinho is, and always has been anti football. He's managed top teams with loads of money yet has always played turgid, boring, grinding like football. Did anyone see his Inter bore their way to the CL? His chelsea teams are boring and he constantly grinds out results. Does he not have a 6'2 right back? just signed a 6'4 midfielder? Not exactly tic a tac a.

What annoys me is the lack of guts within the media to confront these managers when they talk sh*t. Why do they lap it up? Surely the media should be about gaining facts not being in awe of celebrity managers.

That was my thought when I watched the 'interview'. It's all prewritten questions. The BBC interviewers don't respond in any way to what is being said. They just go on with their next rehearsed question. I'm bored with it.

I gotta say though I loved Jose's comments. I even read them to my wife, and we both laughed. What a goose. I watched it with 3 generations of my family on TV this morning, and the last 15 minutes were seriously exciting, and nerve racking, and we even could have nicked it. Would have loved his interview if that had happened.

One of his players costs more than our whole team. How dare he question how we play? Then he carries on about going out to play the right way to try to beat Man City on the weekend. That's dumb. He does that, and gets beaten, and they will be 6 points clear of Chelsea. He should be going for the draw... utter spoilt fool, like a kid having a tantrum in the supermarket

"We are everything bad about football" God, some hysterical b.ollocks gets spouted on this board. We are struggling in the relegation zone, the expectation was that we would get a spanking yet, away against a side with world class players, we gave an outstanding defensive performance and kept a clean sheet. We also showed good prospects of further improvement.

We are not Barcelona. We are an ordinary premiership side. Get over it ffs. If you don't like it, f.uck off and watch someone else from the comfort of your armchair.

Well im happy with the result and happy with the way we achieved it considering the opponents. To play any other way would have coureted disaster.

But in the position we are in bought on by nineteenth century football from the outset left us no alternative.

Point,, if we were sitting comfy mid table we should have been able to play football without the fear of the consequences.

We are in the relegation zone principally because of an appalling injury list since the season's start imo.

And, on a general point, why are we parroting Mourinho's bollox? Nineteenth century football. What a load of c.unt.

Some on here are more delusional than f.ucking Sp*rs.
