Would love it, love it, if this happened. Not only would we get an on fire goal getter, we would f.uck Fulham right up. Plus, for a Brucie bonus, we would shaft sp*rs, who apparently want Berbatov back. Excellent bit of biz imo.

JUst can't see it happening now.

We've (and this is NOT a complaint) blitzed the market for players and now we've signed what Allardyce and the BODs will consider ample business... the others that we bidded for will be let go IMO.

Hope i'm wrong about this one though.

Can't really see it either, in all honesty. Didn't think we had a spare A£12.5 m in the bin.

Punishment for the Morrison business, make em up their bid.

Besides we have saved around 5 mill so only another 7.5 to find.

I can't see this happening but the papers say we'll help fund it by selling Diame to QPR. Razak seems to have been brought in to cover that role.

Diame last season was worth 7.5m, not this though.

One last thought. With all of this activity. Have they sacked Silkman ?

can only see this if we were to ship Morrison and Diame plus Maiga,

even then he'd have to agree to join us.

Signing this bloke really would be a statement of intent.

    Too good to be true?

No...its the same every year...all business tends to happen at the end as buying one player often relies on others leaving or replacements being found.

If this happens, plus a couple of other rumoured late bids (Gradel?) it would be a fantastic transfer window, which is already looking good.

I think Morrison, Mo and Maiga would be on their way, and those incoming are potentially an improvement and offer more options, all with somethnig to prove to cement their national squads.

With the 3 CBs all back/ close, possibly just at FB that we are a little weak in cover.
