    home fae Glasgow

Thats's Mrs Deemo and myself back from our long weekend trip. What a fantastic place Glasgow is with lovely friendly people.
The pubs like The Iron Horse, The Oriental, The stepps Bar and The Lampost serve cheap quality pints and are full of great Glaswegian characters.
The two of us love Glasgow

Edit to say, I get home and find out John Brown has left Dundee A better end to my holiday I couldn't get

No Danny I thought I would show the missus the finer pubs in Glasgow She loved these pubs and we actually looked for The Steps Bar for about an hour on Sunday as we enjoyed it so much on Saturday. We were drunk when we came out and couldn't mind where it was. Looking for it we ended up in The Lamppost where I watched the Arsenal game and she did her Sudoko. It filled up with Celtic fans after their game and we had a good laugh with them.
The Iron Horse which is a bit more upmarket was perfect for where we were staying

The Lamppost isn't a Celtic shop, The Empire Bar across the road is, though.

It had a picture of Jock kissing the European cup and various other Celtic things. Like I said after the Celtic v StMirren game it filled with Celtic fans who were brand new. We had a good craic with them. There was one who had a bag full of food items, mostly shorties and cheese that he was selling
Had a craic with Rangers fans on Saturday in The Stepps Bar.
Glaswegians are a friendly bunch and are very welcoming.
