The pubs like The Iron Horse, The Oriental, The stepps Bar and The Lampost serve cheap quality pints and are full of great Glaswegian characters.

She loved these pubs and we actually looked for The Steps Bar for about an hour on Sunday as we enjoyed it so much on Saturday. We were drunk when we came out and couldn't mind where it was. Looking for it we ended up in The Lamppost where I watched the Arsenal game and she did her Sudoko. It filled up with Celtic fans after their game and we had a good laugh with them.
The Iron Horse which is a bit more upmarket was perfect for where we were staying![]()
nakvnt in their right mind would take their missus into a saltmarket pub![]()

The Lamppost isn't a Celtic shop, The Empire Bar across the road is, though.Originally Posted by gersforme

It had a picture of Jock kissing the European cup and various other Celtic things. Like I said after the Celtic v StMirren game it filled with Celtic fans who were brand new. We had a good craic with them. There was one who had a bag full of food items, mostly shorties and cheese that he was sellingOriginally Posted by DannyBhoy
