    Killie need a new buyer

    The consortium looking to buy them has withdrawn their bid.

    [b]The Kilmarnock Futures Consortium has withdrawn from negotiations over a possible takeover of the club.
    The group had sought to take a "significant interest" in the Scottish Premiership outfit.
    "We made several attempts to achieve the regime change we feel is necessary," the consortium said.
    Chairman Michael Johnston has been the subject of several fan protests, with many unhappy with his stewardship of the Scottish Premiership outfit.
    In their statement, the fans consortium explained: "After several months of lengthy negotiations with Kilmarnock chairman, Michael Johnston, and more recently with new club director, Billy Bowie, we set a deadline for our final offer to be accepted and that deadline has now passed without resolution.
    "During the negotiations, we made several attempts to achieve the regime change we feel is necessary at Kilmarnock, but on each occasion our offer has either been delayed or rebuffed.

    Another club that cant balance their feckin books...probably paying stupid wages in relation to their paltry turnover!

    We know that, Pogue. Every club has experienced financial difficulty at some point, including your own who were 10 minutes from oblivion.

    Aye AJ and Celtic learned a long hard lesson by it and doubt the current custodians will ever allow a huge debt situation to arise again...clubs simply need to balance their books and if it means vastly reducing wages paid to players then so be it...is there a Muslim 'Prayer Room' at old Tynie???
