    It could only happen in Aberdeen




    From the Scotsman:

    "Cabbies are not renowned for keeping their opinions to themselves to inject some life into a ten-minute trip across town with passengers.

    But as Scotland?s historic referendum approaches later this year, a new group of taxi drivers has emerged bent on persuading their fares to vote Yes.

    Cabbies for Yes insist they will only engage with punters who ?are up for it? ? but No campaigners say it could be enough to put people off waving one down in the first place.

    And a taxi chief in Edinburgh said the referendum has so far proved a damp squib a**** passengers.

    The first Yes Scotland taxi has emerged in Aberdeen, where driver Gordon Anderson has his cab bedecked with campaign logos and a message on his wheels. He said many of his colleagues are taking an interest in the referendum.

    and i think it will.

    it cant sustain itself and has proven as such for decades.

    Would you care to provide the figures you used to come to that conclusion?

    Granted all that time you've spent perusing Sevco accounts probably makes you a qualified accountant by now but I'd like to know why you're making the claim when even the No campaign aren't daft enough to try it.

    1. So, what could only happen in Aberdeen, looks like its gathering pace, and interest, has been shown in Edinburgh, I'd imagine the weej will follow in due course.

    heres 1 fact.

    the benefits bill in this country needs england to sustain it, if we go it alone we need to do this ourselves, which we will struggle to.

    That's not actually true though is it? Not all of Scotland is like Glasgow.
