"Police are investigating after threatening mail was sent to Aberdeen FC in the wake of allegations of abuse directed at Celtic manager Neil Lennon.
Mr Lennon said he was verbally abused and had a coin thrown at him as he watched the League Cup semi-final last Saturday when Aberdeen beat St Johnstone.
Neither Police Scotland or Aberdeen FC would give any details about the nature of the threat.
Inquiries are ongoing.
