    Gers tried toaxe us.

    Pay back time !!

Cheeky Albion Rovers have taken a a swipe at cup rivals Rangers - for trying to force them out of business 50 years ago

In Saturdays program they recalled: in 1964 Rovers Steinhousemuir , Berwick, Brechin and Stranraer fought a plan by Rangers to drop them from the leagues as the poorest supported sides.

" It took a while but four years later the plan was dropped,, with support from clubs including Airdrie Hamilton and CELTIC.

" the five have all survived while ironically RANGERS THEMSELVES WENT OUT OF BUSINESS IN 2012 "

    I'm devastated.

But at least I don't have to live in Coatbridge.
