Aberdeen are 9/4 with most bookies with the H*** next best at about 3/1.

Someone must have wagered a fair bit with Macbookies for Rangers to be favourites...Ian Black or does he only bet against his own team?

For what it's worth, I'd say Rangers are favourites for the Scottish Cup.

They've got an effective bye in the quarter final and a home game in the semi.

With the playing squad they pay for they should be winning this. No question.

Aberdeen, or whoever else, will be doing well to overcome such adversity to win it.

Rangers will be kept apart from Premiership sides till the final, if that is possible after the qtrs. Rangers may have died, but the new Rangers attract the same types, in the same numbers, and that's all sponsors care about.

You should be a wee bit more confident as despite the ridiculous amounts the H*** pay their players Aberdeen are superior in almost every position on the pitch...well that's my take on it.

I'm confident up to a point in that I agree with you about our playing squad being strong, but there's no doubting that factors weigh heavily in Rangers' favour.

Dumbarton, who we've drawn, by the way are no push-overs. Not beyond the realms of possibility that they could be a Premiership side next season.

I'm not counting my chickens on that front yet, especially given the Q

I am confident if we got the chance to play Newco wherever, after being liquidated for spending too much on salaries to try and win a 2 donkey race and progress in Europe, the newco now spends too much in salaries to win,,,,,,,,well, the "stars" that "earn" their wages at Ibroke and the orcs that follow them will ensure that if the dandies do get a chance to play them the price

Sevco - massive disparity in their wage bill from all other remaining teams.

Home tie against a 4th tier side and then a home tie in the semi-final.

Of course they're favourites and it will be a disgrace if they let some "diddy team" win this tournament.
