I fervently hope they have a long round of applause at today's games.
Finney was a true great: far greater a man and a footballer than any of these celebrities and prima donnas.

91 is a good innings though, especially considering the heavy leather ball they used, and headed, when he was playing.

I went to Uni in Preston and I am currently working there - go past Deepdale each day and the fountain is magnificent! Everyone I have spoke to say he was a great man and a great player! RIP Mr Preston North End
