I wouldn't blame the Beeb. They will just be reporting the figure announced by Celic. SKY will do the same.

The real problem is the SPFL not having a word about false figures being given out. It does make it look a bit daft.

Unless the sponsors are given these figures as 'proof' that Scottish football is so popular they must plough their money in.

They're not really false figures as the ticket has been bought and paid for.

Attendances in Scotland are on the decline. Regardless of figures or stats, we should all look to the reasons behind the decline, rather than pointing fingers and starting pointless threads about attendances.
