Racist Rants at MSP Humza Yousaf

A RACIST yob who verbally attacked an MSP in the street was exposed by his own community yesterday.

Several peopled the man who appeared in shocking footage on the Record’s website as Chris Chisholm, 30, from Dunbartonshire.

The bully told SNP minister Humza Yousaf he wouldn’t buy a Big Issue from him because he’s “not from my country”.

Yousaf was helping with a homelessness campaign at Glasgow’s Queen Street station at the time.

Chisholm runs his own installation company and lives in a detached house in Gartcosh with his wife Christina, 29, and their young child.

When we asked to talk to him yesterday, Christina said, “No, we don’t want to speak to anybody” and shut the door. Chisholm did not respond to requests to discuss the clip, which is being probed by police.

He was far more vocal during International Street Paper Vendor Week, when he ranted about immigrant and abused Glasgow-born Yousaf. - [url=www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/exposed-racist-thug-hides-behind

I never buy the big issue these days.

I would never give money to a Romanian beggar either. Especially the old woman in Union Street with the one stringed guitar.

I guess it makes me racist that I object to people travelling thousands of miles for a better standard of begging.

Is it racist to say "you're not from my country"?

    How is that racist?

He was born here so presumably the comments were based on his appearance, in which case I'd say the comment was extremely ignorant, if not racist.

I think it's pretty racist to say to someone who's from Scotland that they're not on the basis of their skin colour to be honest.

Just my opinion like & you're welcome to yours too.
