Only watched a bit of it last night but got it on tonight...McDowall has scrapped well and is brilliant match play golfer...looks like he might be going to extra holes again tonight.

Els is looking good and putting well.

Had a wee bet on Oosthuizen .

Garcia gave Fowler a 20ft putt because he felt guilty that he took so long on the previous hole removing his ball from a beehive.

Unbelievable. And needless to say Fowler beat him 1 up.

Aye I read about that and doubt I would have done the same as Garcia...I don't even concede 2 foot putts if I think my opponent is a c***.

I am back down to 8 after a couple of good Stableford Rounds.

In matchplay I always wait and see if he gives me the first tap in. If he doesn't then I give him phuck all the rest of the round.

I'm gonny play this week, hopefully, but the weather up here has been awful the last few decades.

The best trick in match play is to give the first four or five short putts then just as he thinks you are going to give it again make him putt...it often fecks them up and gets in their head.

Aye weather was braw here last week so got a couple of rounds in and surprisingly played really well.

You played your challenge match v Steenhive's loon yet???

Strangely enough I haven't took up that screwball's offer of a game against his loon. :/

I'm an 11 handicapper and I only play 6 months of the year.

Aye as I get older I am fast becoming a fair weather golfer maself.

Played with a young boy off plus 3 during the week and the distance he hit the ball was feckin ridiculous...as good as 80-100 yards past me most holes and I was tonkin it quite well (or so I thought!)

A wee challenge against the screwball's loon followed by a few pints doon the harbour and a read of The Racing Post not your 'cup of tea'??
