Since Jimmy Haze and the other tims

are now avoiding the OTT celebratios thread I'll post this

Leaving the field of play to celebrate a goal is not a cautionable offence in itself
but it is essential that players return to the field of play as soon as possible.
Referees are expected to act in a preventative manner and to exercise common
sense in dealing with the celebration of a goal. - view external link

re: Since Jimmy Haze and the other tims

its not a madatory booking as such as stated by fifa.

what i have a problem with is around 2008 gordon strachan asked the sfa why celtic players get booked all the time for these celebrations while other teams notably rangers did not, clearly one team was being treated harshly while another got off scotfree, these are the facts, it happened.

the sfa responded and lied to strachan saying it was a mandatory fifa ruling, which was crap.

the point is, whether it was a rule or not, celtic got treated differently from rangers, yet idiots on this board bring the subject up now cos celtic have ahd players not booled for celebrating, why didnt yous clowns bring it up then.

maybe if yous did us tims would take your point seriously.
