    Funerals

I've got another one to go to today
The older you get the more you have to attend. Last year it was 5, the year before 4. This is the first of this year and hopefully the last.
Up until about 5 years ago I think I only had about 4 in total.

    re: Funerals

    Was at one on Friday,

It was a who's who in the Italian mafia of Aberdeen with SPECIAL guests arriving we their sharp suits on it was scarey..

Went back to the pub for a coffee you could sense something was brewing no just the beers..being a coward I am I decided to leave ..

The chap himself was an ex champion boxer whom I have known for 30yrs..

He had a heart of gold and a pure gent..he was in his early 50s his heart just said no more poor lad.

I always imagined that you being a military man you would have attended a fair few more funerals than an Average Joe.

No funerals are good but that one was pretty hard. The wife of the deceased broke down in the middle of a hymn
I decided not to go to the wake just now as I would end up a mess.
    Will go along about four

Funerals are ok as long as the person in the box is someone you couldn't give two phucks about.

Free steak pie meal then plenty of booze, whats not to like?
