As usual Neil was full of dignity and grace following Celtic's first league defeat in over 10 months.
"I thought we were outstanding," said Lennon.
"The sending off changed the game, I didn't think it was a sending off. Our performance was magnificent.
"It's a shame that the run has ended. We deserved to get something out the game. I thought we should have had a penalty for a handball in the second half.
"Being down to 10 men didn't faze us. We dominated the second half.
"It looked like we had the extra man. We dominated and didn't get the rewards all our good play and mental strength deserved, but sometimes you don't get what you deserve in football."
You win some and lose some with the seriously inept referees in Scotland but despite Thompson ruining the game to an extent last night Neil is man enough to take the good with the bad.

Neil certainly seems to attract the wrath and violence from inbreds in Scotland and the North Of Ireland but is well liked in England and her colonies from his time at Leicester...strange eh?
Say what you want about the wee man, if Selik get phucked he holds his hands up, congratulates the other team on their performance and victory, and takes full responsibility for the loss. He doesn't go blaming refs or anything like that and other managers could learn from the way Neil conducts himself after a defeat.
His appearance is always exemplary.
Mr Lennon is a passionate manager of whatever club he is in charge off. He acts no different to any other manager and gets unfair publicity because he is the manager of Celtic.
Look how Derek Adams acts for example. IMO he is probably the worst loser in Scottish fitba but doesn't get half as much stick

Thank you, Pogue. Coming from you that means a lot. And remember, we are all Neil Lennon.
