    What went wrong

Why didn't we close things down in the last ten minutes to see out the game. Rovers went for broke virtually playing four up front yet we still let the game get stretched in search of a second goal. On more than one occasion they broke giving them four on four. This was crazy when despite a very poor display we were minutes away from three points.

I know I've heard our fans moan about us sitting back on a lead at home and inviting pressure but not giving the defence any cover when they were throwing so many players forward was suicide.

For the goal Marcus backed off whereas he could have gone forward and got a tackle in to stop the cross. But it was pretty clear it was never going to be our night.
We got all the breaks on Saturday but on Tuesday night the ball always fell kindly for Rovers. Two very contrasting performances.
