Will Fergus McCann criticise the "Catholic bigots" again?

CELTIC chief Fergus McCann last night launched an astonishing attack on "Catholic bigots" undermining his anti-sectarian campaign.

Tommy Burns and Davie Hay - both ex-Parkhead bosses - have criticised the Bhoys Against Bigotry drive.

Burns accused Celtic of confusing tradition with bigotry and Hay - recently axed as assistant General Manager - accused the club of ditching "Celtic-minded" people.

But McCann hit back yesterday as the club issued a campaign progress report.

He said: "These are really veiled comments by people I would call Catholic bigots.

"As far as I am concerned, a person who is determined to do the best they possibly can on behalf of Celtic Football Club is Celtic-minded.

"That's what we look for when we employ somebody and all 325 employees are 100 percent Celtic minded - no matter what their background is."

Asked if his "Catholic bigots" comments were directed at Hay and Burns McCann - flanked by Cardinal Thomas Winning and Church of Scotland Moderator

    Interesting.

Many yahoos champion the progress made over recent years at parkhead in relation to sectarian stuff etc. ... interestingly they will probably now try to air brush it out of history by claiming there was never a problem in the first place.

You couldn't make these yahoos up.

I thought they would turn up in their numbers for wee Fergus yesterday.

    Well they did.

But the numbers were not very big.

I'd always wondered what Celtic minded actually meant. Now I know it actually means Catholic bigots.

He had 4 share issues to fleece them for 33 mil.

He did raise the issue of Catholic bigots.

The court case came about due to him, but still no victims were compensated.

He did block the return of FC a disgusting individual.

Don't expect to see much of this though in the misty eye pysh the Scottish press poodles will peddle when he appears.

True - but they don't want to talk about that.
