    The very point the Wee Scotlan'ers miss. Even if the rUK agreed to monetary union, there is nothing we can do to make them guarantee to stay in it for ever. They would be insane to sign up to a joint union with a country that they couldn't control. As we would be. Thank fek it's not going to happen.
