    Calum Chambers

Don't know if it's been mentioned on here, but on MOTD Extra, Sunday lunchtime, Martin Keown asked if maybe Calum could convert to centre back.
Don't know if it is feasible, but if it were it would potentially give us a decent cb for the next 12 years, or so. Would also fill the gap when Jos leaves in the summer, leaving any money to improve the attacking options.
It would also give Clyne a game.

Good idea. He's certainly built that way.

There are a few players we need to let go if they're not going to make the grade.

There are also a few that we're going to have to fight to keep.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Chambers developing into a player who was comfortable anywhere across the back 4, as well as not looking out of place in a defensive midfield role..

To have a player with such versatility would be an asset to any club.

Could be way off here but I'm sure he was listed as Midfielder at one time.
