    870.000

    I'm ragin this morning !!!

    A report from the Poverty Alliance and SCVO has said there are over 870,000 Scots living in poverty ! thats 1 in 6 Scots, Now I know I bang on about voting YES and many of you give as good as you get, But com'on good folks of this board this is totally unacceptable in this day and age, Food banks, 40.000 homeless applications, and a further 25bn in public spending cuts to come from the Tories in Westminster, Is this the kind of Scotland you want to live in ? On the brighter side Aberdeen will win the league cup,

    The real gamble is staying within the UK, The 4th most unequal country in the civilised world, And thats getting worse,As long as Scotland remains part of the UK and scandalous amounts of money are wasted on keeping WMD in Scotland funding tax cuts for the rich oil money used to build London and the SE of England's infrastucture, then the situation for these poor unfortunate people is not going to get any better in fact its going to get worse !!no decent person with any of conscience would wish it on anybody. But Westminster does;

    As far as what would change in Scotland don't forget Scotland is a very rich country and would be the 8th richest in the world under Independence, It what we do with that wealth that matters, Do give it to London to fritter away on Wars, Tax Cuts for the ultra rich, etc etc, or do we use it to build our ecomemy prioritise and look after our people, We have that choice on the 18th Sep, All the signs say Scotland would flourish under Independence we have the

    Cant get the link to work, So a C&P from RT,

    Scotland has oil, it’s small and can adopt the same regulatory measures as Singapore or Switzerland. That’s everything it needs to eventually join the list of the richest nations of the world, Dominic Frisby, author of ‘Life After the State’, told RT.

    “Scotland has the oil, it’s small, its population is less than 5 million and it has the same record.
