    Spain vs Italy last night

Watched the second half of this & Spain looked phucking good, some of the players that didn't even make their squad last night is mental.

I think they might win the World Cup again in the Summer at that rate, Pedro was on fire last night.

He wasn't really on fire but you ken what I mean.

spain played well within thierselves and for italy it was more of a tactical excercise.

so its difficult to gauge how effective both teams performances were as when it comes to the real thing personell changes will come into the equation aswell as a more competative game.

spain played some great football especially in the 2nd half and i think they are still the team to beat, but it gets more difficult as each game passes when your near favourites, brazil or germany will win if spain dont, cant see anyone outside those 3 that will, but if none do then holland, argentina, france or italy will stand a good chance.

Did you see Pedro's run down the right wing in the 2nd half, had the left back on toast, his close control was scary?

seem to remember that, was that the one which ended with a shot going wide.

i fear this world cup will be very physical, with friendlies most players hold a lot back, but its a different case when the world cups at stake.

Aye, that was the one. The defender looked like a traffic cone.

I'm going to miss half the World Cup because I'll be on my honeymoon & the missus phuckin' hates Fitba. I'm sure FIFA will think up some new daft rule like using a banana instead of a baw or having goals suspended from the Moon.

im on holiday with the kids during the middle phase of the world cup, end of group phase and start of last 16 knockout phase.

so hopefully not going to miss much.

i wouldnt let a honeymoon ruin your world cup, sounds like a good deal, ***, booze and fitbaw, just encourage the wifey to go to bed early and give you peace to watch the games.

on the subject of fifa, they will use a balloon isntead of a ball, making it impossible to score from distance, hit it too soft and its saved and hit it too hard and it takes off into the stand.
