Scotish cup talk - nae Tims allowed

What are everyone's thoughts on the weekends games?

Is the league cup final next week going to mean Aberdeen take their eye off the ball and slip up against Dumbarton?

Will there be dancing in the streets of Raith if they can beat St. Johnstone to get into a semi final? Not a completely unlikely scenario.

Will the Inverness - Utd game be another card and kicking fest? here's hoping. A few minor injuries and suspensions would suit me fine. It should be a cracking game anyway.

And will Newgers sh!t it against Stirling Albion (sic) because they will be scared of meeting Aberdeen/Dundee Utd/Inverness/St. Johnstone in the semi and being humiliated at the 'neutral' semi final venue.

Edit: And can somebody help me find my T.

I can see St Johnstone beating Raith comfortably.

McInnes will hopefully rest a few of our regular starters vs Dumbarton, and the fresher more motivated fringe players like Smith and Low will do enough to get us through.

Reckon the jutes will get through against Inverness after a replay.

Sevco will easily beat Albion Rovers setting up a semi-final at neutral Ibrox, another pearler of a decision by this country's football authorities.

As a rangers supporter I think sunday's tie will be a big test. On paper we should dispose of Coatbridge no problem but we've been making a meal of games at times so you never know what could happen.

IF we get through I can't see us beating any of the potential semi-finalists. Say what you want about wage bills and personnel but if you're not used to playing opposition of particular calibre week in week out you'll struggle to make the step up for a one off tie.

Great to be involved at this stage though.

I can only comment on the little I've seen of Oldco. (East Fife 2nd half on Saturday).

They looked utter mince. Very slow and laborious. No doubt they will raise their game whoever they get in the next round (if they win on Saunday) but I would bet on any of the teams beating them. Hopefully St. Johnstone.

Rangers would beat any of the Diddie sides left in the Cup.

And then struggle against the Premiership sides.

The cup has gone under the radar this week up here with all the talk of tickets etc, thankfully Deek will not allow next week's match to have any bearing on tonorrow. The Sons have done well this year in the championship and considering the dandies recent SC form, you never know, however in Deek we trust :

I think we're going to get knocked out of the cup tomorrow.

It's the Aberdeen way; beat Celtic away then lose to a diddy club at home.

Then surely this must beg the question.

Why are your club once again spunking money on journeymen SPL players and jonny foreigners.

    Never learn their lesson
