    Music, Football and Beer

    These are my three hobbies.

With the advent of Sky TV, followed by the internet then the pub culture that sprung up around it never have my three hobbies been as accessible.

I'm lucky to have grown up through this revolution.

I've just sat supping reasonably priced beer whilst being able to access three live matches. BT Sport on my TV, ITV London laptop and Sky Go on my iphone. I might go on youtube were I can pretty much listen to every song in the history of music for free...later i might nip up to the local and watch the live tea time football.

The world was a different place 20 years ago. The days of going into HMV, looking at all the CDs only recognising a fraction of them but knowing that if I was able to listen to them I'd probably love half of them. Could never take a risk of wasting a tenner on something you never listen to. Oh well, when I come back from the pub I can listen to anything I want now for free through a drunken gaze.

I've quite enjoyed a few Jack and Jills over the years, never really been bothered with the columbians, always thought it was over rated...although I do remember one night thinking it was great, must've been good quality stuff compared to the usual crap.

is that you home now mate having your picnic?

I'm not a great music fan. I like football, darts, the pub and gambling small stakes
I also like making my good lady happy because when she's happy my life is so much better and easier

That's it Jimmy. It's not bad compared to the other stuff in Scotland, but it's never going to win any Charlie of the year awards.
