Thread: John Brayford

    John Brayford

He seems to be playing very well at Sheff Utd... good reviews and scoring goals too.

Granted its League 1 standard, but equally he has performed well in the cups of late.

Would you want him back at Derby?

I don't think the option exists, though despite Wisdom's success this year, Brayford would be a more realistic permanent signing

of course. brayford is a cracking player at championship level. no idea why he didn't get a chance at Cardiff. you say league 1 but he scored against Charlton and was MoM against Fulham in the cup games.

wisdom needs to have a little word with himself because the past 3 or 4 games he's been poor. sheff wed and burnley in particular were a bit woeful.

Agreed. For me, Brayford has a bit of the Buxton's in him, that "die for the cause" attitude. Wisdom seems to be missing that, perhaps because he's on loan?

Like rapid says, Wisdom's been relatively poor the last few games, but he's still a good player. I doubt he'll be here next season though, so a Brayford return would be great.

yh get him back next year. If sheff utd go up though they could be competition for his signature.

I would have him back, though he may prefer to stay with Nigel if the option exists.

It's probably a couple of months early to call what might happen...

Cardiff may be Prem or Champ
Derby may be Prem or Champ
Sheff U may be Champ or L1

So if the Championship is Brayford's 'level', then it may be that all or none of those clubs are right for him, come the start of next season!

I'd have him back. Better offensively than Wisdom, but not as good defensively.

Plays with his heart on his sleeve every game

Ffs. Forget about Brayford. He's a Clough man through and through. Played for him at three clubs now. There is no way McClaren will ever consider signing him.
