Sevconian dilemma if they beat Albion Rovers

Half the revenue from the semi-final goes to one of those top flight clubs that did not vote the brand new club directly into the top flight of Scottish football.

That would naturally mean a boycott as these Sevconians have principles, but maybe half the revenue is more important to their own club this time to ensure Rickaldinho Foster and the likes get their 20K monthly wage.

My prediction is 38,000 frothing baying orcs will show up for this one.

Surely if second win the replay the tie will be switched to a neutral venue or at the very least the ticket allocation will be 50/50

According to the BBC, utd are asking for 20,000 tickets for the semi.

The SFA have to grant them surely. To give any kind of semblance of neutrality.

I thought this post was going to ask if the Sevconians are still backing their manager given that they are likely to be the first team to win a league (must be another record ) but the team are dreadful and are being embarrassed in the cups.

As a "neutral" venue for the semi-final DU will be entitled to half the tickets. Whether they'll want to take up that allocation or not is another thing. If it's 20K DU and 32K TR then presumably it'll be one end and part of one stand for DU

Segregation plays an important part in these decisions (as we've seen this week). I doubt they'd be able to split it 50/50 exactly.

As for switching it, the incompetent SFA have confirmed Ibrox is the venue and no switch will take place.

The whining diddies will just have to live with it.

...that's if we get past Albion Rovers, of course.

Berty if ye don't get past Albion Rovers at the second time of asking it'll be the biggest upset of the Scottish Cup.

I wouldn't be as confident of ye getting past DU mind

But of course, if Sevconians do stick to their principles and boycott anything that provides revenue to top flight clubs, Dundee United may as well ask for 50,000 tickets.

The boycott (which most of the support will probably not participate in) was away matches, as far as I recall.

    This is a cup semi-final.

It amuses me how much energy clowns such as Kreepy expend on Rangers and hypothetical questions partaking to.
