I take my Da to the posh Marcliffe hotel occasionally for a coffee n cake..

He is near deaf and with that he speaks loudly that's ok but he swears like a trooper to the disgust of the posh patrons..I have seen some faces especially from the ladies.one even walked out with her two children who may have been mid *****..I do tell him but his reply is ehh ehh what you saying..

I have given up..mind you he is 87 this June..

Some people are far too sensitive. He's your father. Surely he can talk to you however he likes?
