Evans team selection baffles me. I hate seeing players played out of position. Tavernier is a right back whose better there getting forward.
Think we're bound to get in play-offs. With squad we've got you won't get away with playing people out of position. These matches we've got left need to be getting Adams and Hitchcock match fit. Team last night Adams in place of Bradley and Hitchcock in place of Agard. Doesn't matter what anybody says still think a fit O'Conner is better than Smallwood. But if he's not fit Smallwood isn't doing bad.

What have you got against our top scorer? Not having a go or anything, it's just you seem to be calling for him to be dropped quite a lot.Originally Posted by gwru
All season we havn't had a right winger he let Worrall go and now we've got Adams and he's still not playing.
Agard ok he's our top goalscorer but play him on wing he's just not a winger. I think Hitchcock would score more goals from chances made than him.
I just want to see players played in there correct position.
I really couldn't disagree with you more.Originally Posted by gwru
Tavanier is a managers dream, a versatile player that can play on the left or on the right at the back or further forward is skilful and has a goal in him. The combination of Bradley and Tavanier on the right was excellent for us last night.
Smallwood, despite a couple of stray passes early on, never put a foot wrong. He is the type of player we need i
This board is about opinions. Mine differs from gwru very much and is very close to S8_Miller.
I think Agard is an asset that I wouldn't dream of dropping for anyone!
My take on things regards selection issues.
Tavernier prefers to play further forward and isn't a natural right back anyway, he's just that good he can play basically anywhere at this level. Adams has done nothing to earn a start.
Every game and a different opponent warrants a tweak in tactics or the odd change to the side at times, 2 changes last night worked a treat.
On Saturday I'd prefer to see Agard back out wide and Hitchcock come in to play upfront with Tavernier dropping back, but Bradley came in and scored a goal. This is why we have a strong squad.
The debate about O'Connor and Smallwood goes on all the time, even last night during the game we were talking about it. Smallwood has his limits and doesn't always play at the high tempo this side generally likes to at it's best, but he suits games like last night away from home. He does exactly the job he's in the team for.
We're unbeaten since he signed and Frecklington is on the form of his life, taking more attacking resp
I didn't think that was Tavernier's best game tbh, seen him do a lot better.
Bradley had a great game considering he looked like he was limping a bit in first half
