    ABOVE DERBY

If we win on saturday and derby lose, and we beat them next week we would go above them, would that be nice. but I also think I would be dreaming. I think they will draw with reading and us, but we shall see?

If they beat Reading and us and we lose to Donnie - it will be 12 points.

Either is possible, as are a few different scenarios in between.

You gotta admire the positive spin though

    It is also factually correct

But there are a number of scenarios, 3 games, each with 3 possible results and only one of those combinations would result in the title of this thread being true.

But it isn't that far fetched though, lets face it, you would barely be able to buy a pint if you won on that A£1 treble!

Who would have thought at the start of the season that this would be some sort of crumb of comfort to some Forest fans.
I don't care if we catch Derby or not, I care for a six- placed finish or better.

Not interested in being above Derby if it was only to decide play-off positions.

That said I don't think they will finish 3rd or we 5th to encounter each other in the play-off semis, if things pan out as we hope them to be.

They'll get Wigan and we the Hoops.

I'm sure Reading would have something to say about this combo, though.

    re: ABOVE DERBY

Our inability to score makes a win tomorrow unlikely, with Reading being in good form and pushing for a play off place. Also, Reading has never been a happy hunting ground for us, a bit like Turf Moor really.

I'd settle for a draw now thank you very much.

Thinking ahead to our match with you guys next week, I'd be looking forward to it if it wasn't for a severe goal drought on our part. But then again, these derby games are so bloody unpredictable.

As for Donny, they've won their last two games which has taken a little bit of pressure off them but they were both home games I believe. Their last away fixture was a 5-0 thumping by Bournemouth I think. So I'd say that this is your chance to bag a few points but you'll probably need to play reasonably well to get them.
