danny, the british public would want what we had in the 60,s and 70,s if only the record companies would go out and find proper talent.

the 80,s killed all that, and we ended up with hip hop, stock aitken and waterman and all the *****y cover versions by bimbos with little or no clothes on.

fair play to cowell, he tapped into a gap in the market to make his money,a gap created by record companies no longer willing to take the chance on potential talent. but to suggest the british public want this is wrong.

record companies killed the music industry, the british public are not aware of this and are spoon fed crap from the likes of cowell and co.

real music talent is what we need, does cowell actually write songs, play an instrument or sing.
