    Tony Benn

Sad day for the socialist movement in the UK, a sad day for labour and a sad day for politics in this country as a whole. He was one of those politicians who was actually respected as much by his political opponents as by his own side (much more so in some cases). No wishy washy new Labour for him.

An nice bloke too moorlad. I once knocked into him rushing around a corner into Petty France and he brushed off my apology with one of his own. One of the counties greatest political thinkers.

Knocking into someone ONCE don't make them a nice person, shirley?

What if, when you'd gone off, he'd checked his pockets, thinking you were a Cumbrian dipping fiend, and when he found his wallet and watch were intact, actually thought, or even muttered, you were an annoying, clumsy prick/****?

I of also seen him being nice on the telly-box Judd, and I of pointed and said "look, what a nice bloke". However I also of to admit that I AM in fact an annoying, clumsy prick/****, and also selfish with it. I am not an mugger though, oh no.
