    That the last living widow of a serving American civil war soldier died in 2008.

    The last Civil War survivor died in 1956 which is pretty weird too.

    Right, it must've been something like this... he was 16 or so when he fought at the end o' the war that lasted 'til the 1860's. He then got married to a young quine fan he was aboot 70 which would've made it aboot the 1920's. She was aboot 17 or 18 when she got married and died in 2008 when she was aboot 100.
