Puke Heavings at it again - unfair slur on Icy Tea

[i]Hugh Keevins: Caley Thistle didn't bring anything to the party but final defeat means their history has begun in earnest

ITa€™S not the winning or losing, ita€™s the taking part that matters.

That cliche dedicated to the ethos of fair play has been mocked by the cynics for years whenever it has been applied to football.

But ita€™s the only form of consolation available to Inverness after losing to Aberdeen yesterday.

In truth, a cup win for them woulda€™ve been like someone coming to your house without a carry-out and leaving with a full bottle of whisky.

The Caley Jags didna€™t bring much to the party and left Glasgow empty handed. But at least theya€™ll know what to expect the next time.

The cluba€™s has been registered as a company for two decades but their history began in earnest yesterday.

A team needs to have experienced the lows Inverness endured in this final in order to know what high achievement really means.

Now they have a point of reference

That post is eye-AIDS from first to last word.

Why would anyone waste their time reading anything Hugh Keevins has to say?

He'll not retire while people are still talking about him, and putting up links to the record website, Dingus.

This is a guy who coined the phrase, 'Internet Bampots', when people said that they read up about Craig Whyte on the net and all was not as his paper was printing.

    The guy is a dinosaur.

My favourite Hugh Keevins moment... - view external link
