You missed one bit of good news Bladds... Wycombe lost 2-0... bad news it was to our next opponents league leaders Rochdale !
Each week I am full of optimism at 3.00 and then end of full of disappointment at 5.00. I am not sure what sort of excuses Barker can come up with this time... 7 of the starting line up were his signings together with 1 of the subs. Bearing in mind that Chorley started ( or rather didn't start !!!) his career here under suspension for a red card it is no great surprise that he may be a sending off waiting to happen... a luxury you can't afford in our position.
We seem to be worse than under Guy, at least we scored a goal or two. The home scoring record under Barker is just abysmal.(Can you get worse than abysmal cos it's that too)
Has anybody got any good news to cheer me up

We are in dire trouble of that there is no doubt. In all the years I've watched football I can't remember a team feign injury so mucb, rolling around in agony until the referees attention was attracted. From where I sat a yellow card would have been enough, but the antics of the player got Chorley sent off for me. Having said that we aren't good enough, Barker is taking us to the Conference for sure. A very disillusioned, long suffering Ldb

We WERE better under Guy! On the assumption that we need to SCORE GOALS to stay up, the current side are not able to do that on anything like a consistent level. Even if we get that rare win, it is only ever 1-0.

Dire, dire times at the park

And clearly not 14000 there either!

1st half I thought we were ok, but we have strikers that have no idea about anticipation. Our crossing from FK's & Corners remains woeful & some of our players simply lack guts & determination.
I think on reflection things are desperately balanced now.
Probably too late to sack him now, but whatever happens I think the damage to his time here is done. I'm convinced we'll start next season wherever that maybe with a different manager. And next time I hope when they interview a prospective manager they ask about his footballing philosophy because under Barker its been dull, tedious & awful.

    York Match

Chorley has to serve a 4 match ban apparently so he wont be available to the Bristol Rovers home game
