Fontwell Races
I'm going on an all expenses paid trip to the gee gees on Tuesday. Do any of the readers have any tips?

The 3rd race, the 3.10 is in memory of the legendary Pompey Fan Docker Hughes. He who stood for Parliament once, Duty Frees on the Gosport Ferry was one on his manifesto pledges. It is said his mates several hundred votes cost Hancock being elected for that Parliament. Not a bad thing some would say.
When the declarations are made for the races I'll nominate my tip of the day

Another of my local haunts when growing up, a friendly small track that you can go out into the middle of during races and get close up to the action.
Will have a look at the decs when they're out and see if anything leaps out at me.

Fontwell is a really friendly track, the facilities are much improved since the building of the new stand. I shall go to Goodwood for one of the Friday evening meetings in June for sure. However twice I have been to the last day of the big meeting, and both times I have said I'll never go again. I backed the Jim Goldie trained/Graham Lee ridden winner of the Stewards Cup 2 years ago when I went so it isn't sour grapes when I say the meeting is a rip off.
