Since being highly underwhelmed by the appointment of Barker i've given up resorting to moaning continually about him, as i saw enough in his 1st few games to suggest he wasn't an improvement on whittingham.yes he shored up the defence to a degree, but a what cost?

Playing the lazy jervis up front on his own is not only a dreadfully negative tactic,it hasn't worked at all in any game.This is because he hasn't remotely got the skill or aptitude to hold the ball and bring a midfield into it. This quite frankly was obvious after watching him once, i dint need 10 games to suss this out. Barkers persistence in doing things his way is misplaced. This is because he is completely out of his depth at a club like Portsmouth. Yes this is a very poor division where results need to be dug out.But he's not doing that,even at the expense of attacking football.

I personally don't think it is too late to get rid. Yes under awford and macca we leaked goals (like the late late show against southend).b

As we are going down anyway at this present time with Barker, who does not seem to have the man management skills to produce any harmony within the club, the only course of action is to change things at this very critical time. Leave it any longer and this club will just drop like a stone out of league football. In other word what is there to lose? Leave it as it is, and it will be one bad result after another. I would ask Neil Warnock to take charge for the last batch of games. I think this squad can perform a lot better than they have been, but not under this manager.

Wallace seems to be the only one capable of having a shot. Big Pat holds the ball up much better than Jervis and should deffo be playing IMO.

It's definitly not too late to get rid of Barker, we are going down with him, Macca/Awford will at least have a go. If we are doomed i would rather see them take us down because we will know that at least we tried.

I totally agree with Biley. We haven't a hope in hell of staying up if we stick with Barker the way I see it. Far better to give it a go under those 2 who are Pompey through and through.

I have to admit I thought we should stick by him,not anymore enough is enough,going down I feel,have to agree with the above,i fear for our club if relegated
