    Premiership play-off semi-final, 1st leg
    3rd or 4th in Championship v 2nd in Championship


    Sunday 18 May, 2014

    Premiership play-off semi-final, 2nd leg
    2nd in Championship v 3rd or 4th in Championship

    Wednesday 21 May, 2014

    Premiership play-off final, 1st leg
    2nd or 3rd or 4th in Championship v 11th in Premiership

    wonder why we have to introduce play offs now when for over 100 years we done without them no problem.

    It's called moving with the times and evolving, Reve. They keep interest going until the last game, tv companies want to televise them and the supporters want to go to them meaning extra money for clubs in a time when most are struggling.

    For 100 years, 2nd place in the 2nd tier meant something. Just ask any Dundee United fan how come United are in the top league having last won the 2nd tier in 1926.
