Off on a cheapy break to Puerto Pollenca in Majorca in 2 weeks time.

Anyone been there?

Not to Pollenca although my ex neighbours have been twice and liked it. We go a few miles further South down the Western Coast to Port Soller (going again this summer). If you hire a car worth checking out places like Deia near there which is visually stunning and the best restaurants we found were in a hillside village called Formalutx (still drooling over the suckling pig I had in one there!!).

You're heading to the right area of the island though, away from where the likes of Ozzy would go.

I think I've been to Majorca. It was back in my happy days, when I was single and child free

Didn't sleep for a week, and drank enough local grog to drown a rhino. In fact, at some stage, I may have huffed a rhino, I honestly can't remember the outcome of the pull a pig night

Anyway, beware of snobby families drooling over cheap cuts of meat. You know the sort, the kind that bring shame on us Brits abroad

Mrs Weasels never been to Majorca.

However, I remember some old sort drooling over my pork and Mrs Mart sounds like she's known around the island. It couldn't have been...could it?

If you ever spent a night with Mrs Mart then it would be quite the trophy pull for you...but as we all know, you don't win trophies, so this seems very unlikely.

Forgive me for thinking you found Mrs Weasel in a Majorcan Pull a Pig competition, Skegness seems far more likely.
