Just paid a tenner to do a professional CV online, looks great until I download it to PDF or Word doc. then it looks crap and doesn't fit into the pages, at points it flows into the next page etc.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?? The original CV looks great.

It's a bit dodgy paying a tenner to they sites.
Well, you complete it then click download, gives you options word doc, pdf etc. Then when you open the downloaded documents they look a bit crap.Originally Posted by BertrandRussell
There's an option to email it to yourself directly from the site without converting and it looks good. Might just forward it as an email rather than an attachment.
I didn't realise I'd have to pay until I finished it and I went to download.Originally Posted by CB_1874
There was a Visa Verify thing on it so was legit if not a bit of a con.
Just e-mail it to yourself and then fix it up on a Word document.

Your local job club would have done it for feck all. And you don't have to be unemployed.

Tell you what, I'll just pop into my time machine, go back half and hour and go down to my local job club. Cheers.
Sure I've already got it on a word document...could just fix that up.Originally Posted by BertrandRussell

While you're back in time put a thread on here asking for help with a CV and I'll tell you your local job club will do it for feck all. Cheers.
