To all tics fans doing the walk for Joseph
The Latics family are coming together once again this Saturday, the club makes the short trip to the Reebok Stadium in Horwich to face local rivals Bolton Wanderers in a Championship derby game, a large number of supporters are making their way to the game on foot, walking from the DW Stadium to show support for Joseph Kendrick and the Josephs Goal Charity.
There are over 500 people registered to do the walk, no doubt many more will join us on our way through Wallgate, Wigan town centre, Scholes, Whelley, Aspull and Blackrod raising both money and awareness for a very deserving cause.
Occasions like this epitomise our club, the Latics are a club of the people, they are at the very heart of the local community and it is fantastic that they support events like this, on the walk will be regular fans joined by ex players, even the Latics CEO Jonathan Jackson will be walking the six miles between the two grounds.
