    Chalky lad...

    I dont know how old you are, but at some stage you will shake hands with death. Not your own, but someone elses, someone close, you may even have to become involved, and see it up close.

    A dying person will slowly, or not slowly deteriorate, and before the final curtain falls, there is always a brief flickering improvement, before the final moments.

    I can hear you asking, whats this to do with me? Let me mention the Cobblers, death seemed certain, then there was a small improvement, now there is the descent into relegation.

    So it is with Nottingham County. A brief improvement before the inevitable "death", of relegation. Your optimism will be horribly dashed, your grief and dissapointment multiplied ten fold, as you had hope, when having none would have been kinder.

    Ive told you lot before,dealing with the deceased is only a small part of my job,i dont work in the mortuary...
