Well said, and I am feeling a bit cheerful about it myself and it would put the icing on the cake if we heard more about the injuries.I hope at least one of them is at lest on the bench on saterday

Here are my reasons to be a happy tricky tree:
1) Fawaz - loads of cash and loads of time for the fans. Good on ya! When you want to complain, think, we could have Cardiff's Looney!
2) Injuries - despite such an awful injury hit season, we are still just outside the playoffs.
3) Young talent - Darlow is exceptional. Lascelles is no longer just a player we are told is good, he has shown it. Paterson has come on brilliantly and is a key man going forwards
4) Contracts being renewed - Darlow, Lascelles, Paterson all signed. Reid still contracted. Told Lansbury is in negotiations for extension. Not like it used to be where we lost people for free.
5) Good Buys - They may not have shown it to their maximum capacity yet but Vaughan, Abdoun & Djebbour are top signings and will be awesome next season.
6) Jack Hobbs - Fawaz got his man despite Bruce being a wolly about the whole thing.
7) Psycho's coming home - Yes I know his managerial background but I don't care. All I have ever asked

He's the bloke who drove a minibus of players on the Wednesday of the Cheltenham Festival. He said that Abdoun has been identified as a bad apple in the dressing room and has no future at the club. Like I said it's just what he told me, but he's usually been right with his bits of info.
Wow get you SBC what a very positive piece ... all we need now is the sun to come out![]()
Elite - I have heard the same information but the detail behind the stories seems to paint a clearer picture. When he arrived, his attitude was fantastic. He trained well and started to integrate into the dressing room. He had a falling out with Billy over the penalty against West Ham and then started to be a nuisance with Billy during training etc. From what I have been told it was very much a player-manager issue. I think he is a very talented lad and needs the right opportunity. A new manager with an open mind and a full pre-season will do Abdoun no end of good. Djebbour simply needs someone to understand how to use him and to give him a run in the team. One of the senior members of staff at the club told me that Billy struggled to come up with a plan that didn't include Cox as a starter up front. He then told me that the whole squad have been calling for Henderson and Djebbour to start together. Djebbour's movement is top class and Henderson holds the ball up well and heads well so
Aye SBC my sentiments exactly. It's indeed a happy day for all Forest fans where ever they are.
Of course who doesn't want promotion or the play-offs, but I tell you honestly this is a damn good consolation to have if we don't make it.
Indulge me a I create another thread.

Nice post SBC.
Thought Pearce press conference was first class. No bulls**t and very genuine.
Interesting that Henderson nor any of the French speaking clique (Moussi, Gomis, Abdoun and Djebbour ) were involved in the 18 at Ipswich or am I reading too much into this????! See picture below... - view external link
