Having just read the article, I think it's fair to say that the clubs 'ambassador' has scored a bit of an own goal.

He would do well to keep his mouth shut if this is his idea of good media. The matter was dead and buried but he's dragged it all up again and put Warnock in a position where he has to defend himself, which then doesn't exactly reflect well on the clubs management structure.

It may have been a throw away comment that a journo blew out of context and proportion, which is common practice. But this is where he has to be media savvy.

What I found funny was that Warnock says nobody at the club knew what they were doing but then goes on to say HE had to ask terry Robinson about the loan rules.

He puts his foot in his mouth with the look of it. He should have kept quiet and let the fans enjoy the moment instead he as taken the gloss off their heroes return by causing a controversy out of nothing.
