A driver crashed their car into the wall of Tannadice Park in an early morning smash before leaving the car and making off.
The incident happened at 5am on Sunday when a black Ford Fiesta veered off the road and smashed into an external wall at SPFL side Dundee Uniteda€™s stadium.
Police said inquiries are ongoing to try and trace the driver of the car who is thought to have fled the scene at Tannadice Street in Dundee.
The wall was left badly damaged and the vehicle was also damaged in the collision.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We were called to a road traffic accident on Tannadice Street at around 5am this morning when a car crashed into Tannadice Stadium.
"Enquiries are ongoing to trace the driver of the vehicle."
Anyone who might have seen the black Ford Fiesta motor car being driven in the area around that time is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 - [url=http://news.stv.tv/tayside/270684-driver-ploughs-into-tannadice-park-before-fleeing-car-in-dundee/]view
