    The Pub At Night

Didn't get to the boozer til after 7pm last night. I'm normally a day time pub goer and I worked out why last night.

When you go out during the day you know you'll be home long before the pub shuts, when you go out at night you're subconsciously playing beat the clock.

Daytime drinking is much more civilised.

I'm off today so as I finish up my lunchtime sausage supper, dipping it into a tub of curry sauce I wonder should I go up to the pub for a few afternoon pints with the Evening Times and a pen to do the crossword.

I'm with you there Mr Scone. By the time I have dinner, have a shower, get ready and step out for the night I never feel in the zone. Sitting with a pint in the afternoon however is much more my thing.

I prefer going out at night, more banter & more burds kicking about too.

There was a boy came into the boozer at the weekend & had two pints of Stella & a massive burger in about 20 minutes & f*cked off, very odd behaviour.

I didn't think that would be allowed in Royal and Loyal Inchinnan?

    Are you off out today?

I'm currently sipping a bottle of 'good morning your honour', and have a 2 litre of Strongbow chilling nicely in my fridge.
