Start to build a team before we get to Stratford

The general consensus has been that we should just survive until we move into the Olympic stadium upon which we can start to build a more entertaining team.

I think this is too late, we need to start entertaining before we get there or the first season will be played out in front of a half full stadium with little on offer to attract the corporate sponsors. James Collins hoofing it long to for Kevin Nolan to get a knock down just ain't gonna cut it and neither will a midfield that includes Matty Taylor.

It's time to stop relying on loans and bargains , we should start to construct this team now with the inclusion of two 10-15m players (Sam spunks over 20m per season anyway) with genuine technical ability and or pace. I think we should aim high but perhaps look at players who are out of favour and have a reduced price as a result.

    Suggestions on a postcard please

I would like any of these, Nani, Hernandez, Zaha, Townsend, Holtby, Rodwell, Richards or Arteta.

    Afternoon mate.

I don't think we'd get much re-sale on Carroll and I'd quite like to keep him to be honest. The problem with Sam's style of play is that AC has to head the ball back in the direction it came from because he's isolated. If he were to play with a quick partner he could flick the ball on for someone to run in behind the defence which would stretch the opposition.

As for Morrison. . . . . .I'm convinced he won't be here next season if Sam stays. I didn't believe the bollox about first team opportunity's when Sam started spouting it, clearly there is something wrong with the fat blokes man management technique because Harry and Southgate seem to be able to get a tune out of the lad.

but Ferguson couldn't. Nothing wrong with his man management.

Wait until he signs permanently for another club and then decide.

The AC fee would be debateable, and I actually like his attitude so would be pleased if he stayed unless someone came in for A£15m! Defoe would have been a perfect partner for him in a previous life.

Would love to know exactly what ha

Yes indeed. If only Sam weren't so dead against two up front.

Downing has been a decent buy for us at 6m but I'm not sure why Liverpool paid 20m for the bloke. I would quite like to see him reunited with Ashley Young on the other wing who will surely be booted out of Old Trafford in the summer.

Ravel has proved little imo that is unless you are referring to his potential, as for Fergie, they have the finances to carry these so called error of judgement issues

we don't thats why we are discussing Ravel and Manu are not.
